What happened: Bleacher Report evaluated projected starting units for all 30 teams entering 2026-27. LeBron James accounts for 22 of Philadelphia's 36 combined All-Star selections.

Why it matters: The two-year, $8 million addition gives Philadelphia a decorated starter on a modest salary. The player option leaves the contract's second season in James' control.

What to watch: Training camp will test the lineup's shooting balance and workload plan before the 2026-27 season.
