What happened: Florentino Pérez responded to a Horizonte question about whether Real Madrid's planned €150m target could be a non-forward by saying, "in Madrid, you always need more." The remark follows his claim that Real Madrid intends to make a major offer for a Champions League player next Tuesday.

Why it matters: The comment keeps attention on Real Madrid's transfer strategy during a presidency race and signals that squad-building may not stop with existing attacking stars. It also extends a theme from recent Pérez comments that Real Madrid's top attackers are expected to stay while the club still seeks another marquee addition.

What to watch: Watch whether Pérez names the target or formally submits the bid next week. Any response from the selling club will determine whether this becomes a live negotiation or campaign-season positioning.
