What happened: NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport promoted Thursday's 2026 NFL Schedule Release Show, set to air at 7 p.m. CT on NFL Network. The post, sponsored by Shift4, teased a street-level cameo ahead of the league's full schedule reveal. Wire.report previously flagged the May 14 release date as the league's marquee offseason event.

Why it matters: The schedule release is the offseason's biggest content moment, locking in primetime windows, international games and travel burdens that shape and season-win totals. Early leaks have already confirmed a Broncos-Chiefs Monday Night opener and a Bengals-Ravens Thursday Night Week 17 matchup, so tonight fills in the remaining 270-plus games. For the Titans — the only team explicitly tagged in the source thread — the reveal will set the tone for a rebuild year under a new staff.

What to watch: Watch the 7 p.m. CT broadcast on NFL Network for the full 272-game slate, then track opener-week win totals and primetime counts as books reprice within the hour.
