What happened: Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, head coach Robert Saleh said he is confident rookie defensive end Keldric Faulk will be recognized among Tennessee's all-time greats by the time his career concludes. The midseason endorsement follows an offseason in which Faulk prioritized pass-rush development after signing his rookie contract on May 27.

Why it matters: Tennessee traded back into the opening round on April 24 to secure Faulk as a long-term cornerstone for Saleh's defensive front. Early rotational deployment on third-down pass-rush packages in August positioned the 2026 first-rounder for regular-season snaps.

What to watch: Tennessee continues midweek practice preparations following Wednesday's injury report ahead of its upcoming matchup with Cincinnati.
