What happened: Ryan O'Hearn went deep in the Pittsburgh Pirates' latest win, prompting the club to pair its highlight post with an All-Star ballot push. The team framed the moment as both an in-game blast and a reminder for fans to vote.

Why it matters: The homer reinforces O'Hearn's value in the middle of the Pirates' order during the 2026 regular season. It also gives the club a timely promotional moment as MLB All-Star voting opens.

By the numbers: O'Hearn was listed at 2-for-4 with a run, three RBIs and one home run in the Pirates' 5-1 win. A public game thread listed his slash line at .295/.371/.486 after the game.

What to watch: Watch whether the Pirates continue using O'Hearn's power moments to fuel All-Star campaigning. His next few games will shape both lineup momentum and ballot visibility.
