What happened: New Orleans Saints picked Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson eighth overall in the NFL Draft. The Saints targeted Tyson as a pre-draft favorite. He pairs with quarterback Tyler Shough to enhance the passing attack.

Why it matters: Tyson fills a key void in the Saints' receiving corps after underwhelming production last season. His addition could elevate Shough's performance and shift Saints' for playoffs. Top-10 WR picks often produce 700+ yards as rookies.

By the numbers: Draft Pick: No. 8 overall Position: WR College: Arizona State 2025 College Stats: 82 rec, 1,265 yds, 11 TDs (ASU leader) No injury history noted.

What to watch: Watch Saints' next picks to bolster lines; Tyson's minicamp integration.
