What happened: Seattle promoted Irvin Charles from the practice squad to the active roster on Friday, while Trevon Diggs returned to the practice unit following his release.

Why it matters: Charles bolsters the Seahawks' receiving depth and special teams coverage after joining the club via an offseason trade and spending time on injured reserve earlier in October.

What to watch: Charles is eligible to dress immediately for Seattle's next regular-season contest.
