What happened: Fabrizio Romano reports that The Killers will perform live in Budapest ahead of the UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show presented by Pepsi. The performance is set to precede the 2025/26 final and is being promoted under the #PepsiKickOffShow banner. A video teaser accompanied the announcement.

Why it matters: The Kick Off Show has become a fixture of the Champions League showpiece, framing the build-up for a global broadcast audience. This year's final carries added weight as the stage for Arsenal's first Champions League final in 20 years.

By the numbers: Arsenal reached the final after eliminating Atletico Madrid in the semifinals, with Declan Rice named Man of the Match. Their opponents advanced past Bayern Munich, who were knocked out at the semifinal stage.

What to watch: Attention turns from the pre-match entertainment to kickoff itself, with the final to be staged in Budapest.
