What happened: Quarterback Tyler Shough remains active for the FOX broadcast while playing through left-hand fractures without missing game action, per ESPN. FOX analyst Drew Brees detailed the technical mechanics required to secure ball exchanges using the injured off-hand.

Why it matters: Playing with a compromised non-throwing hand tests ball security on run-game mesh points and snap exchanges. After taking over pregame huddle leadership earlier this season, Shough staying on the field preserves offensive continuity at quarterback.

What to watch: Clean handoff exchanges and snap handling under center will remain the focal point while Shough plays through the left-hand injury.
