What happened: Jordan Walker is a finalist for the Silver Slugger Award, the Cardinals announced Thursday. I70 Sports Media lists him as an outfield finalist.

Why it matters: The Silver Slugger recognizes the best offensive player at each position. A finalist nod puts Walker among the top bats at his position for 2026.

What to watch: Winners at each position are still to be announced.
