What happened: Chase Young moved past 6.0 sacks on Sunday to reach the seven-sack mark for the 2026 regular season, per PFF. That separates Young and league sack leader Will Anderson from Greg Rousseau, who previously shared second place on the PFF leaderboard at 6.0.

Why it matters: Climbing to at least seven sacks by Oct. 25 brings Young within three of his 2025 season total of 10 sacks and 38 tackles across 12 games, per ESPN. Selected second overall in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Ohio State, Young now sits in a two-man tier atop the league's pass-rush standings.

By the numbers: 2026 NFL sack leaders per PFF (as of Oct. 25, 2026): Will Anderson 7.5 sacks; Chase Young 7+ sacks (entered Sunday at 6.0); Greg Rousseau 6.0 sacks.

What to watch: Official NFL stat logs and final Sunday charting from PFF will set the exact margin between Anderson and Young entering the next slate of games.
