What happened: Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is expected to return to practice Thursday ahead of Monday's division matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, per Mike Garafolo.

Why it matters: Barkley's availability steadies an injury-depleted Philadelphia rushing attack while quarterback Jalen Hurts continues his recovery. Dallas enters the NFC East contest at 2-3 following its Week 5 loss.

What to watch: Philadelphia's Thursday injury report will detail Barkley's official practice participation level ahead of Monday's kickoff.
