What happened: Rookies arrived several days earlier at the club's Flowery Branch facility. The veteran reporting date brings the full roster together for camp.

Why it matters: Atlanta now enters its preseason evaluation window before final roster cuts. Three exhibition games follow camp, beginning Aug. 14 at home.

By the numbers: The Falcons scheduled 10 practices open to fans during camp, including a July 31 session for season-ticket members.

What to watch: An Aug. 8 night practice at a local high school follows. Two joint practices are scheduled before the second preseason game Aug. 22.
