What happened: Gabriel Bonfim weighed in at 170.5 pounds for the UFC Vegas 118 main event. His successful weigh-in makes one half of the welterweight headliner official.

Why it matters: Hitting the scale accurately is the final procedural step before fight night. Gabriel Bonfim has previously stated his intention to finish the fight, and making weight ensures the bout proceeds without complications.

What to watch: The other half of the main event must also successfully weigh in to finalize the headlining bout for Saturday's card.
