What happened: Barcelona midfielder Gavi publicly defended Ousmane Dembele after Paris Saint-Germain sealed Champions League qualification. Asked about Dembele sharing his Instagram video, Gavi said Dembele is "my brother," "more than a friend," and added that he is happy for him and rates him alongside Lamine Yamal as the best.

Why it matters: The comment matters because it keeps Dembele in focus just days after PSG eliminated Bayern Munich 6-5 on aggregate to reach another Champions League final. It also extends Gavi's public messaging from earlier Sunday, with the Barcelona midfielder again speaking candidly on major European storylines around players he knows well.

What to watch: Watch for any follow-up from Dembele or PSG as final buildup continues toward Arsenal on May 30. Further Barcelona media appearances could add context to Gavi's relationship with his former teammate.
