What happened: Barcelona midfielder Gavi told Movistar that the club should not "obsess" over the Champions League following their recent European exit. Speaking ahead of tonight’s El Clásico, the 21-year-old emphasized that the team's domestic campaign has been "excellent" as they sit on the verge of the league title.

Why it matters: Barcelona enters tonight's clash at Spotify Camp Nou with an 11-point lead over Real Madrid and just four matches remaining. A win or draw against their rivals would officially crown Gavi and his teammates as La Liga champions for the 2025-26 season.

By the numbers: Barcelona (88 pts) holds an 11-point advantage over Real Madrid (77 pts) with 12 points left to play for in the season. Hansi Flick’s side has won 29 of 34 league matches, while Real Madrid arrives missing Kylian Mbappé and Fede Valverde due to injury and disciplinary issues.

What to watch: Barcelona can secure the La Liga trophy with a result in tonight's El Clásico kickoff at 21:00 local time.
