What happened: Barcelona midfielder Gavi said his on-field exchange with Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior should stay on the pitch after their latest El Clasico. Speaking to Movistar, Gavi said he told Vinicius to be quiet after the Madrid winger referenced the club's 15 Champions League titles. He added that both players are intense competitors but different away from matches.

Why it matters: The comments keep the focus on the emotional edge around Barcelona-Real Madrid as the title race tightens and every Clasico moment gets amplified. They also fit the same Gavi who recently argued Barcelona should stay patient about the Champions League, underscoring his role as one of the club's most outspoken voices.

What to watch: Watch for any follow-up from Vinicius Junior or Real Madrid after the latest Clasico flashpoint. The bigger near-term swing remains whether the rivalry fallout spills into the title race or disciplinary news.
