What happened: Gavi spoke to Movistar about his altercation with Vinicius Junior during Barcelona's 2-0 victory over Real Madrid on Sunday. The midfielder admitted he told the Brazilian to "shut up" after Vinicius referenced Real Madrid's 15 Champions League titles, but maintained that such fiery exchanges are part of the game's competitive nature.

Why it matters: The exchange came as Gavi helped Barcelona secure their 29th La Liga title, officially ending Real Madrid's championship hopes at the Spotify Camp Nou. Despite the heated moment, Gavi praised Vinicius as a "fantastic player" and noted that their competitive personalities on the pitch do not reflect their characters off of it.

What to watch: Barcelona enters their final three matches of the season with the title secured, while Real Madrid shifts focus toward their remaining European commitments. Both players are expected to rejoin their respective national teams for summer international fixtures.
