What happened: Austin suffered a non-contact injury during Tuesday's practice and was carted off the field. He had been expected to work alongside Malik Nabers and Darius Slayton after joining New York this offseason.

Why it matters: The injury forces the Giants to revise their receiver rotation before Week 1. It could improve Odell Beckham Jr.'s path to the 53-man roster, with final cuts due this weekend.

What to watch: New York must settle its receiver depth chart as Nabers works toward a Week 1 return. Darnell Mooney and Beckham are among the remaining options.
