What happened: Odell Beckham Jr. is trying to make New York's roster in his first year back with the team. Slayton and Beckham may be competing for the same place.

Why it matters: Slayton has guaranteed salary remaining, so releasing him would leave a cap charge. A trade is also possible.

What to watch: Watch for New York's decision on Slayton as roster cuts are completed.
