What happened: The New York guard knocked down six three-pointers and dished out seven assists to fuel the second-half turnaround. His perimeter shot-making and primary ball-handling erased the double-digit hole after halftime.

Why it matters: That late-game execution extends the clutch production Brunson has delivered since powering New York to the NBA championship. Leaning on their captain as both a high-volume scorer and facilitator gives the Knicks offense a steady closer in tight regular-season contests.

What to watch: New York continues its regular-season schedule looking to build momentum from the second-half rally.
