What happened: Baldy said Kahlil Benson has held up well against the looks Kansas City defensive coordinator Spags has used in training camp and preseason.

Why it matters: That assessment keeps Benson in contention for a larger role on the Chiefs offensive line. A move to left tackle would add another test for an undrafted rookie entering his first regular season.

What to watch: Watch whether Kansas City gives Benson first-team left-tackle work when the regular-season lineup is finalized.
