What happened: Kyle Schwarber participated in pre-game media interviews and arrival ceremonies alongside his family during the Mastercard All-Star Red Carpet Show in Philadelphia. The midsummer festivities brought players and their children to the arrival plaza ahead of the evening contest.

Why it matters: Schwarber earned his All-Star nod as one of the premier power hitters in the league during the first half of the schedule. His offensive output has been pivotal in driving fan voting and keeping his club positioned among the top contenders heading into the midsummer break.

What to watch: First pitch for the 96th MLB All-Star Game is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET tonight. Following the midsummer classic, clubs will resume the 2026 regular-season schedule on Friday.
