What happened: Lazaro Montes hit a 474-foot home run on September 9 to set a T-Mobile Park Statcast distance record.

Why it matters: That September stretch followed praise after a September 2 outing and preceded a sixth-inning injury delay with the score at 3-0 on September 10.

What to watch: As the 2026 MLB postseason continues, the Cuban slugger will not play in the LIDOM winter league this season, per @yusseff305.
