What happened: Wednesday's Big Ten availability filing also sidelines wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan with a foot injury alongside defensive lineman Matthew Johnson and offensive lineman Immanuel Iheanacho. Moore sustained his concussion during the Sept. 26 win over USC and has practiced and thrown under head coach Dan Lanning despite remaining out since missing last week's game against Nebraska. Stewart misses a second consecutive week following a Sunday morning DUI arrest in Springfield, Oregon, which Lanning said the coaching staff is addressing internally.

Why it matters: Dylan Raiola and Brock Thomas remain the active quarterback options after splitting snaps in Moore's absence, with Raiola relieving starter Thomas in the fourth quarter last Saturday to throw the game-winning touchdown against Nebraska. Raiola also stepped in for Moore against USC before Thomas saw action during the loss to the Bruins. Playing without both Stewart and McClellan removes Oregon's primary downfield targets while the passing attack operates with a two-quarterback rotation.

By the numbers: Evan Stewart leads Oregon with 27 receptions, 352 receiving yards, and 4 touchdowns through 5 games this season, averaging 13.0 yards per catch and 70.4 receiving yards per game. Wednesday's Big Ten availability list rules out 5 Ducks in total, marking the 3rd straight absence for Dante Moore since Sept. 26 and the 2nd straight for Stewart.

What to watch: Dylan Raiola spoke with reporters Wednesday as Oregon prepares to choose between Raiola and Brock Thomas to start Saturday against the Fighting Illini.
