What happened: Speaking with ESPN's Rob Demovsky and Green Bay beat writer Ryan Wood, the tailback said he understands some fans will think less of him after the August incident. He added that he remains secure in himself and in how the Packers organization views him.

Why it matters: Selected 24th overall out of Alabama in the 2019 NFL Draft, Jacobs was charged with battery and property damage on Aug. 29. Green Bay's leadership publicly backed the running back to stay on the roster and return to action while the legal process played out.

What to watch: A final league decision remains on whether Jacobs' stint on the commissioner's exempt list will be credited toward any potential suspension. On the field, Green Bay will work him back into the offensive rotation ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline.
