What happened: Teoscar Hernandez launched a go-ahead grand slam to center field in the seventh inning, putting the Los Angeles Dodgers ahead 4-3. The bases-clearing blast brought the Dodger Stadium crowd to its feet and instantly changed the complexion of the game.

Why it matters: A four-run swing in a single at-bat is the kind of momentum shift that decides tight July games, and it erased everything the opposing side had built to that point. For a Dodgers lineup navigating the grind of the 2026 regular season, late-inning power from Hernandez keeps the middle of the order dangerous even when the team falls behind early.

What to watch: The Dodgers bullpen now has to protect a one-run lead over the final innings, and whether Hernandez gets another high-leverage at-bat could decide the finish.
