What happened: Rafael Camara completed his F1 debut laps in the Haas VF-26 during first practice at São Paulo. Haas reported that he and Ollie had 27 laps between them at the halfway mark, and the session was stopped before it resumed.

Why it matters: Camara was elevated for the Brazilian Grand Prix after Haas parted ways with Esteban Ocon, and Haas tabbed the rookie for his home-race debut. He already holds one of the team's two 2027 seats.

What to watch: Second practice follows later Friday, with Camara's running again on the schedule.
