What happened: Multiple sources with knowledge of the decision told Annie Costabile of The Athletic that Indiana is dismissing Cox from her general manager role. Her reported exit arrives on the same day Krauskopf ended a two-season tenure as Fever president after nearly three decades with Pacers Sports & Entertainment.

Why it matters: Parting with both top basketball executives on the same day leaves Indiana to rebuild its entire front-office leadership entering the 2027 WNBA offseason. The sweep comes three weeks after Cox publicly defended Fever fans following postseason criticism.

What to watch: Pacers Sports & Entertainment will now conduct concurrent searches for a new team president and general manager ahead of 2027 free agency.
