What happened: The potential deciding game of the WNBA Finals between the Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries is scheduled for 12:30 ET in Atlanta. The afternoon tipoff avoids a direct venue and market conflict with an Atlanta Hawks game on the same date.

Why it matters: Golden State beat Atlanta 64-55 in the latest Finals contest after the teams entered the matchup tied 2-2 in the series. Moving a potential championship clincher to a midday window pulls the WNBA's marquee stage out of prime time to accommodate the NBA schedule.

What to watch: The series returns to Atlanta as the Dream and Valkyries prepare for the afternoon Finals matchup.
